Born in 1948 in Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he studied architecture. In 1977 he moved to Barcelona, ​​where he founded the Grupo Berenguer, along with architect, Norberto Chaves, and designer Jorge Pensi and Oriol Pibernat.
Later set up his own studio, which in 1991 joined his associates: the german designer, Jeannette Altherr and interior and industrial designer, Manel Molina.
The result of this association is Lievore Altherr Molina studio, dedicated to "product design, consulting and art direction of different companies," working with companies in Spain, Italy, Germany and the United States.
Alberto Lievore already has major exhibitions in Milan, New York, Paris and Tokyo, among other cities.

I was one of 15,000 visitors to The Oporto Show – Porto’s design (half)week – earlier this month. The number is quite impressive, given that the young Portuguese event is only at its fourth edition. This year’s theme, On Stage, hinted that the show was ready to shine.

DE magazine visited and supported the Oporto Show for the the second time this year (last time in 2010) We enjoy visiting the city of Porto and always come away loving the place even more. Portugal has a interesting and exciting design scene and this year was no exception, the stage was set for another great show.
