TOS’08
Concept: The Oporto Show is an international manifest of design, interiors and architecture (for furniture, lighting and fabrics). The show will be composed, as in the past year, by several scenic spaces created by decorators and architects, representing different brands. Inspired in some of the most recognized shows in this area, and after the success achieved in its first edition, TOS’08 pretends to be this type’s biggest event in Iberian Peninsula.
Space: the historic building of Alfândega do Porto, with a great view to Douro, it’s, again, the chosen place to receive TOS’08. Here, visitors will meet the latest trends and the suggestions of the best experts.
Time: TOS’08 will take place in June 2008 and will last for four days (from 12 to 15). During this time, along with the exhibition, are expected several parties to promote the brands, discussions and press conferences.
Purposes
- Fidelization of participants and visitors;
- Contribute to a bigger divulgation of design, interiors and architecture;
- Grant the contact between national and international specialists, in way to enrich their work and knowledge;
- Contribute to a definition of international trends;
- Promote the cultural, social and business-related development through the enveloping of many entities;
- Promote Oporto (and Portugal) by the association to a quality event;
- Discuss themes of architecture, design and interiors with national and international experts;
- Encourage the growth and development of Portuguese market;
- To position Portugal in the map of the biggest design and interior’s shows, at a global level.
Promotion
- Advertising: in national and international media, Outdoors, Muppis and Newsletters;
- Contact with national and international media in the way to increase media references to TOS’08;
- Elaboration of Catalogues, Flyers and Brochures with information about the Oporto Show’08;
- Promotion of press conferences, to make easier the contact between media and people representing the different brands;
- Elaboration of TOS’08 Magazine with several articles of the past edition and to foresee the 2008 show (to participants, visitors and press);
- After the inauguration party, several parties will happen in order to promote the brands represented in the show.
